Reason for Varied Consent The industry has removed the pickling and casting tumbling process. Additionally, the industry has installed 01 no. electric annealing furnace to improve the quality of product; however, there is no increase in production capacity.

Visit:
To verify the contents of the application, the industry was visited by the undersigned on 02.01.2026 and Sh. Satpaul Panesar, Proprietor was contacted. During visit, it was observed as under:
1. The industry was in operation.
2. The industry has installed 02 no. electric heating furnace of size 2 ft x 2 ft, 02 no. forging press, 03 no. framing press, 08 no. Drill machines, 04 no. Lathe machines and 02 no. electric annealing furnaces.
3. The industry has installed 1 no. DG set of capacity 160 KVA, which is equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height.
4. The industry has stopped its pickling process as verified during visit.
5. The industry has not provided any submersible pump as the source of fresh water is MC water supply.
6. No water is used in the process, so no trade effluent is generated
7. The industry has provided septic tank for the treatment of domestic wastewater and the same is being disposed off onto land for plantation after passing through septic tanks.
Recommendations:
In view of the facts mentioned above, if approved, it is recommended that the varied consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Thread take up level @ 2500 nos./day may be granted upto 30.09.2030 subject to suitable conditions and following additional conditions that:
1. The applicant shall be liable to abide by the provisions of the Master Plan to be notified and shall also be bound to follow the provisions of the section 79 along with other provisions of the PRTPD Act, 1995. In case, the site falls in non-conforming land zone after the notification of Master Plan and no claim shall be demanded by the applicant from the Department.
2. The industry shall obtain NOC of the Board, if it changes any of its product or raw material or enhances its production capacity in future.
3. The industry will not carry out the pickling process without obtaining prior written permission of the Board.
4. The industry will not install any additional air polluting source without obtaining prior written permission of the Board.
5. The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic.
6. The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.
7. The industry shall ensure that there is no public nuisance/ odor problem in the area, due to activities of the industry.
8. The industry shall be bound to shift its unit from present location to designated area within the stipulated period as per the provisions of the notified Master Plan of Bassi Pathana, if need be.
