It is submitted that, in reference to the verification of land use classification of M/s Universal Biomass Energy Pvt. Ltd., a letter was issued to the District Town Planner, Sri Muktsar Sahib vide letter no. 2576 dated 06.01.2026.
Further, a reply has been received from the District Town Planner vide letter no. 44 DTP(MKS)/LUC-1 dated 13.01.2026, wherein it has been intimated that the industry is required to apply through the Invest Punjab Portal for obtaining land use classification details, as per the Department Rules (copy attached).
Accordingly, the industry has been informed and advised to take necessary action in the matter. However, it is pertinent to mention that, as per the PUDA website, no Master Plan has been notified for Tehsil Gidderbaha to date.
