Keeping the above in view, it is recommended that: 1. Varied 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for existing production and discharge may be granted to the industry up to 31.03.2026 for Washing of Knitted Fabric/ Cloth @ 10 MTPD, Washing of Denim Jeans @ 2000 Nos/day & washing of textile shirts etc @ 8000 Nos/day along with discharge of trade effluent @ 98 KLD & domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD with suitable conditions as proposed above by the AEE.
2.Further, as per the last hearing given to the SPV on 06.05.2025 by the Competent Authority of the Board, it has been decided that no new NOC or NOC for expansion or varied consent to operate for increase in the discharge of trade effluent shall be granted to the member units connected with the CETP, hence no further machinery can be de-sealed to restrict the unit at its existing granted discharge of 98 KLD. .
