RO has visited the site of the STP and has reported that the authorities (PSIEC) is complying with the provisions of the water act, 1974, as well as decisions of the earlier hearing held on 19.12.2025, except for the fact that the authority is yet to install OCEMS at the outlet of STP. In view of the report/ recommendations sent by EE, RO, Patiala, if approved, PSIEC may be granted, fresh consent to operate under the water act, 1974 for short-term, i.e. upto 30.06.2026, subject to suitable conditions, conditions as imposed by RO following additional conditions:
1. PSIEC shall install OCEMS at the outlet of STP, within one month and shall connect the same with server of CPCB/PPCB, within seven days thereafter.
2. PSIEC shall utilize the treated waste water of the STP for irrigation purpose only.
