It is submitted that the residents of village Kamalu held a permanent dharna in front of the industry regarding pollution caused by the industry during operation of the unit. Moreover, the residents have also visited the Head Office, Patiala and given memorandum to the Competent Authority for not to grant consents to operate / permission to the industry for operation of unit.........
Keeping in view of above, if approved, the consents to operate applied by the industry under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be refused after concurrence of the Competent Authority because the industry was issued show cause notice for refusal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 alongwith an opportunity of personal hearing before worthy Member Secretary of the Board on 16.01.2026, please. |
