In reply to above, it is submitted that the unit has applied for obtaining the Varied Consent to Operate for Washing of Knitted Fabric/ Cloth @ 10 MTPD, Washing of Denim Jeans @ 2000 Number/day & washing of textile shirts etc @ 8000 Number/day along with discharge of trade effluent @ 265 KLD & domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD into conveyance system of CETP of 50 MLD capacity…………Whereas, it has obtained Consent to Operate for Washing of Denim Jeans/Fabric @ 2000 Numbers/Day with discharge of trade effluent @ 98 KLD & domestic effluent @ 02 KLD into conveyance system of CETP of 50 MLD capacity. While processing the application it was inadvertently mentioned about addition of washing of textile shirts etc @ 8000 Number/day ………
It is therefore again recommended that Varied 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for existing production and discharge may be granted to the industry up to 31.03.2026 for Washing of Denim Jeans @ 2000 Nos/day along with discharge of trade effluent @ 98 KLD & domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD with suitable conditions.
