It is submitted that, earlier the hospital has granted auto renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTO/Renewal/ASR/2025/29651305 and under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTO/Renewal/ASR/2025/29651285 dated 26/09/2025 for Hospital @ 35 Beds, which are valid up to 26/09/2030 under the name and style of M/s Mokha Hospital & Kidney Care Centre, 905/13, Near Govt. Dental College, Batala Road, Amritsar
Now, the hospital has applied for obtaining varied consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for hospital @ 35 beds under the name and style of M/s Mokha Hospital & Kidney Care Centre (A unit of VN Health Sciences LLP) 905/13, Near Govt. Dental College, Batala Road Amritsar.
The hospital has already deposited Rs. 10,000/- vide Transaction Id 922462802 dated 26/09/2025 for consent to operate under Air Act, 1981, Rs 10,000/- vide Transaction Id 206188080 dated 26/09/2025 under Water Act, 1974, which is adequate up to 26/09/2030 under both Acts.
1. The hospital has submitted revised CBWTF agreement with M/s Amritsar Envirocare regarding lifting of bio medical waste of 35 no. beds.
2. The hospital has submitted compliance report of previous consent granted under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.

It is pertinent to mention here that Board issued order vide no. CEE(HQ)F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries. Now in continuation to above orders Board has issued fresh orders vide no. 329 dated 14/9/2023 regarding to Auto generation of renewal of consent to establish / operate / Authorization of any category of Small-Scale industries / projects / Health Care Facilities (up to 50 beds) and Hazardous Waste generating industries.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the hospital up to 26/09/2030 under the name and style of M/s Mokha Hospital & Kidney Care Centre (A unit of VN Health Sciences LLP) 905/13, Near Govt. Dental College, Batala Road Amritsar with suitable terms & conditions along with special conditions that: -
1. The hospital shall get effluent sample (combined liquid and domestic effluent) analyzed from the Board’s Lab within 01 month.
2. The hospital shall renew its agreement time to time made with Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility well before its expiry and submit the copy of same in this office.
3. The HCF shall comply vide Head Office, no. 468 dated 31/08/2021 issued by Punjab Pollution Control Board.
