Discussed, as the industry has installed wood fired baby boiler of capacity 500 kg only and as per practice the baby boiler provided with adequate stack height are considered sufficient to meet the prescribed emission standards. Further, if required, emission samples may be collected from the stack of the industry. A special condition may also be imposed that in future, if the industry fails to achieve the prescribed standards, it shall be bound to provide requisite air pollution control devices and action shall also be taken under the provisions of the Air(prevention and control of pollution) Act, 1981.
