It is submitted that Air samples were collected from porthole of the stack of wet scrubber installed with boilers on 17.12.2025 and sent to Board’s lab for analysis and results were as below: Particulate Matter concentration is 493 mg/Nm3 at 6% O2, which is beyond the prescribed limit of 150 mg/Nm3 for the sugar industry. Hence, if approved, it is recommended that SCN may be issued to the industry under Air Act, 1981 for the above violations, please. Competency – Hon’ble Chairman of the Board
