Sir, as per the record, the industry had submitted the land use classification certificate as issued by DTP, Fatehgarh Sahib vide its memo no. 409 dated 03/03/2021. As per the DTP letter, the site of the industry is situated within MC limits of Bassi Pathana and master plan of which is yet to be notified. In the said letter, it was also mentioned that the industry was established in the year 1979 and no CLU guidelines were applicable to the industry at that time and no violation of provisions of Punjab Regional and Town Planning Act, 1995 has been made by the industry.
Now the industry has reduced its pollution load by removing the wet process including pickling and caustic wash.
However, the industry had earlier installed 01 tiny annealing furnace for metal heat treatment. But now it has added Additional tiny annealing furnace in the premises having cap of only 100kg/day to improve the quality of product.
As the industry is operating since 1979 and master plan of Bassi Pathana is yet to be notified. The site of the industry seems suitable.
