In view of the report submitted by the AEE, It is recommended that Consent to Operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for operation of Banquet Hall @ 80 Nos/Day, Kitty Hall @ 25 Nos/Day, Restaurant @ 75 Nos/Day and Staff @ 15 Nos/Day may be granted to the unit with suitable conditions and additional conditions that 1. This consent is granted for the discharge of domestic effluent @ 12 KLD only. 2. The unit shall apply for authorization under the Hazardous and other Waste Management Rules, 2016 within 15 day. 3. The industry shall comply with the guidelines of Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA) from time to time. 4. The entrepreneur/industry shall obtain necessary statutory permissions /clearances from all other concerned departments. 5. The unit shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic. 6. The unit shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises. 7. The unit shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. 8. The unit shall ensure that there is no public nuisance in the area, due to activities of the unit.
9. The unit shall provide the permission certificate from the MC for disposal of treated wastewater into sewer within a period of one month. |
