Respected sir,
The site was again visited surprisingly to check the contention of the compliant received in this office on 22.01.2026 and it was observed that the industry has disposed its ETP wastewater without any treatment into the adjoining field/ plantation, which is blackish in nature and caused degradation to the land of the field owner. The pictures are enclosed herewith.
From the condition during the previous visit for processing of consent case and the conditions during today surprise visit, there have been significant changes with observation that the industry is discharging its untreated wastewater in unauthorized/illegal manner despite having working ETP at site and has temporarily improved the conditions within the premises for shorter period just for the sake of obtaining consent to operate from the Board. The actual condition came into light after the harvesting of the trees by the adjoining field owner.
In view of the recent visit, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be revoked/cancelled and further, action u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 may be initiated against the industry for the grave violations being committed by the industry.
