• It is intimated that the unit is a service center of four-wheeler vehicles.
• The service station has applied for consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and under the Air Act, 1981 with requisite documents through OCMMS of the Board.
• The service station has deposited Rs. 12000/- vide UTR No 705038432 dated 21.08.2025 and Rs. 37800/- vide UTR No 705038432 dated 22.12.2025 Water Act 1974 and Rs. 14400/- vide UTR No 289135271 dated 21.08.2025 and Rs. 44400/- vide UTR No 785685992 dated 22.12.2025 under the Air Act, 1981, adequate upto 30.09.2028 after deducting NOC fee, Penalty fee and Balance fee.
• The service station has submitted land use classification from Assistant Town Planner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar vide letter no. MTP/392 dated 20.08.2025 mentioning that the service station falls in General Industrial Zone.
• The service station has submitted approved building plan from Competent Person.
• The service station has submitted lease deed as a proof of date of commissioning mentioning date of lease from 28.02.2025.
• The service station was visited by Er. Jaspreet Singh, AEE of this office on 23.01.2026 and it was observed that: -
1. The industry was in operation during the visit.
2. Any type of trade effluent has not been generated in the premises of the service station. Only domestic effluent is discharged into the MC sewer.
3. The service station is engaged in servicing of four-wheelers vehicles only. No washing of vehicles takes place at the site.
4. The service station has installed one closed paint booth section in which secondary fugitive emissions are trapped by paint filters.
5. The service station has installed one D.G. set of capacity 70 KVA with canopy & adequate stack height.
Recommendation: - Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the service station upto 30.09.2028 with suitable conditions please.
