The application of the industry was scrutinized and it was observed that the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 using wood and paddy straw as fuel in Thermo pack installed at site. However, the feasibility report submitted by the industry is using pet coke in thermo pack, which needs to be clarify. The industry has not submitted compliance of SOP for using pet coke as fuel and also has not provided completion certificate of new APCD.
The applicant is requested to clarify the above so that further action in the matter can be taken, please.
