RO has reported that the unit was visited by Er. Tarundeep Singh, AEE on 19.01.2026 in compliance of the decision taken during the personal hearing held on 08.01.2026 before the Senior Environmental Engineer, Jalandhar. During the visit, the following observations were made: The unit has purchased approximately 01 acre of land located behind the service station. The said land was shown during the visit and plantation activity has already been initiated. New saplings have been planted and the area is being developed for plantation purposes. The Effluent Treatment Plant of the unit was found operational at the time of visit. It is pertinent to mention that effluent samples of the unit were collected earlier by the Board on 03.09.2025, and the analysis report of the same was received vide ZO Letter No. 2362-64 dated 12.09.2025, wherein all the parameters were found within prescribed limits. A dedicated hazardous waste storage room was shown during the visit. The unit has taken corrective steps towards compliance with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, as directed during the personal hearing. In view of the above report and recommendations made by RO if approved Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the unit upto 31.12.2030, Subject to the following conditions: 1. The unit shall ensure continuous and proper operation of the ETP and shall maintain adequate records. 2. Treated effluent shall be utilized for plantation/land application within the designated area only and no discharge outside the premises shall be made. 3. The plantation area shall be properly developed and maintained. 4. The unit shall explore the feasibility of recirculation and reuse of treated wastewater for vehicle washing purposes, so as to minimize freshwater consumption and waste water generation thereof.
