L. …………To verify the facts, the shopping mall was already visited by the Er. Amritpal Singh Chahal, EE alongwith Er. Gurwinder Kaur, AEE on 05.12.2025 and it was observed as under: - 1. It is a shopping mall and was in operation during the visit. 2. The shopping mall has two no. basements and 5 floors in its superstructure. 3. The shopping mall has installed STP for treatment of domestic effluent of the entire premises. Further, it is informed that effluent sample of the mall was collected by the officer of this office on 05.12.2025 and the concentration of various parameters at the outlet of STP was found to be pH = 8.1, TSS = 12mg/l, TDS = 864mg/l, COD = 34mg/l, BOD = 8 and Oil & Grease = BDL, which are within permissible limit as prescribed by the Board. 4. The shopping mall has installed 04 no. D.G sets of capacity 500 KVA, 1010 KVA, 1250 KVA and 250 KVA provided in acoustic room with adequate stack height. 5. The shopping mall is maintaining the record of discharge and chemical used for treatment of effluent. As per record the reading of the flow meter was found to be 18905.3 m3 on 01.06.2025 and reading during the visit was 21430.0 m3, the effluent discharge = 21430.0 – 18905.3 = 2524.7/187 = 13.50 KLD which is within consented discharge. 6. The shopping mall has provided bio-composter for managing solid waste. 7. The shopping mall has made an agreement for managing Solid Waste with M/s A2V Infra Services, Ludhiana. 8. The shopping mall has made an agreement with the M/s Aggarwal MFG. Co., Friends Industrial Estate, Focal Point, Ludhiana for lifting of HW category 5.1 i.e., spent oil generated from the D.G. Sets. 9. The shopping mall has stored HW category 5.1 i.e., used spent oil approx. 200 Ltr. and the shopping mall has lastly lifted used spent oil @ 200 ltr. on 10.03.2025. 10. The shopping mall has submitted a completion certificate issued by the ATP, Zone-D, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana vide letter no. ATP No. 783/ATPD dated 21.01.2025 and building layout plan of mall mentioning it is having total built-up area is 19744.40 sqm (212527.61 sq feet). 11. The shopping mall has already deposited the bank guarantee of Rs. 10 lacs as an assurance to achieve the effluent standards under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 which valid upto 10/07/2026…………………. The shopping mall is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974a and the Air Act, 1981. In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the mall for a period upto 31.12.2028…………….
