It is recommended that varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the facility upto 30.06.2030 with usual conditions and special conditions that:- 1. The facility shall ensure that the facility and recycling processes if any which are to be adopted should be in accordance with the standards or guidelines prescribed by the Central Pollution Control Board from time to time. 2. The transporter/refurbished/ dismantler/recycler shall be liable to pay financial penalties as levied for any violation of the provisions under E-waste Rules 2016 by the State Pollution Control Board. 3. The facility shall ensure that the fractions or material which could not be recycled in its facility is sent to the respective authorized recyclers. 4. The industry shall comply with the prescribed parameters/checklist for verification of systems provided for management of E-Waste by the dismantlers/recycler under E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 as amended in 2018. 5. The industry shall inform the Board prior to operating the ETP for the metal refining process and shall get the effluent samples analyzed from the Board’s laboratory. |
