It is submitted that As per the proceedings of the personal hearing, after considering the submissions made by the industry and facts on record, the Senior Environmental Engineer, Jalandhar decided that :
1) The consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 be returned.
2) The industry shall apply for varied / revised consents under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 whenever, it resumes its operation in future.
3) The Regional Office shall verify the contention made by the industry and submit report / recommendations accordingly.
..........In view of the above:
1. If approved, the Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may kindly be returned to the industry, as decided during the personal hearing.
2. The present application may be closed after returning the consent. Further, the industry shall be visited after 31.01.2026 to verify the status at site, and any further action, if required, shall be taken up separately through e-noting.
