It is submitted that industry is a small scale green category applied for fresh Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide for production of Inner Wear and Baby Sweater from knitted cloth & Yarn as raw material and Domestic effluent @ 7.5 KLD on to public sewer and operations of one baby boiler using wood as fuel & 02 DG sets of capacity 62.5 KVA each with canopy and adequate stack height.
The industry has already deposited Rs. 58800/- vide receipt no. 896526733 dated 16.01.2026 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 58800/- vide receipt no. 971368616 dated 16.01.2026 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 31.07.2032 under both acts after deducting Rs. 8400 as NOC regularization fees.
The application of the industry scrutinized and observed as under :-
1. The industry has submitted area classification certificate issued by ATP, Ludhiana vide no. 2121/DTP(L)/M2L dated 21.08.2024 under which the site of the project falls in designated industrial zone of Master Plan of Ludhiana (2007-31).
2. The unit has submitted ownership documents, CA Certificate (for Rs. 400.50 Lakhs) and copy of site plan/building plan dully approved by Dy Director Fys vide letter No. DDFPB00231456 dated 08.09.2025.
3. The unit has submitted permission from Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat, Village Bhattian Bet for connection of its domestic effluent into village sewer line.
4. The unit has submitted copy PSPCL electricity bill as proof of year of commissioning of the unit. The date of electricity connection is 08.06.2025.
The industry was visited by Er. Gurvinder Singh, AEE on 20.01.2026 :-
1. The industry was not in operation during visit.
2. The industry has installed the machinery for the process of Finished Fabric In-house Checking > Cutting > Stitching > checking > Packing & dispatch.
3. There is no source for generation of trade effluent and domestic effluent is connected to sewer line of village Bhattian Bet.
4. The unit has installed one baby boiler on wood as fuel. The boiler has been provided with stack of adequate height.
5. The industry has installed 2 DG set of capacity 62.5 KVA each equipped with canopy and adequate stack height.
The industry is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
Keeping in view of the above, the Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be granted to the industry with general conditions.
