After perusal the report given by the RO, it was observed that the industry is small scale red category unit and having valid CTO upto 10.6.2026 under both Acts for manufacturing of Repaired Transformers @ 12 Numbers/Day G.O. Switch @ 30 Numbers/Day .
Now, the industry has applied for obtaining consent to establish (expansion) for installation of heating & galvanizing furnace for additional production of Electrical Goods @ 1.2 TPD within the existing premises. As per the DTP report, the site is situated out side the MC limit of Handiaya and Mater plan is under finalization and such type of activity is allowable .Hence, the site is suitable as red category unit is also operating in the same premises.
If approved, it is recommended that Consent to establish (expansion) may be granted to the industry for installation of heating & galvanizing furnace for additional production of Electrical Goods @ 1.2 TPD for one year, subject to suitable conditions and special conditions as mentioned vide previous note with additional condition that the industry will submit land use classification of the site as per notified Master plan of Barnala within one month.
