As discussed.
The project falls within the MC limit, Patiala and the LOI has been approved by ADC (UD). The treated domestic effluent will be partially reused, partially used for irrigation in the plantation area within premises and remaining will be discharged into sewer after treatment through STP.
In view of the above, it is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 granted to the project proponent for one year with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and special conditions that the project proponent shall submit approval from MC, Patiala for disposal of its effluent into MC sewer before obtaining CTO and shall not discharge effluent in unenvironment sound manner under any condition.
