Discussed. Since, the site falls within MC limit and Master Plan of the area is yet to be prepared, hence, as per the existing policy of the Board, the industry cannot be allowed to install any new machinery/ polluting process within its premises until unless the site falls within the designated area or the site meets the general siting criteria.
In light of the above, if approved, SCN for refusal of CTO under both the Acts may be issued to the industry alongwith an opportunity of personal hearing at ZO level, pl. |
