The reply submitted by the project proponent indicates that the institution existed prior to inclusion of the area within the limits of Municipal Council, Faridkot and had obtained approval from the then competent authority, i.e. the Gram Panchayat. Accordingly, comments may be obtained from Municipal Council, Faridkot by forwarding a copy of the layout plan on the following points:
i) Whether any prohibition order exists regarding operation of the institute at the said site.
ii) Whether the activity is declared impermissible in the area.
A copy of the communication may also be endorsed to the applicant for necessary follow-up with the Municipal Council and for resubmission of the application along with the requisite comments.
The matter may thereafter be put up along with a comprehensive report on the project from the environmental perspective, after receipt of the requisite comments, please
