It is submitted that, as per office letter no. 2753 dated 17/11/2025, the consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 granted to the industry were revoked and the enoting against the industry was sent to Zonal Office-2, Patiala for further action and decisions are yet to be received. During visit, the dryer was found installed by the industry in its premises whereas, the industry has applied for the consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Sorted raw rice @ 1.0 TPH without dryer.
Therefore, it is recommended that the application of the industry for obtaining consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be refused, please.
