The industry was earlier granted Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide No. CTOW/Renew/LDH1/2022/20480607 dated 09.01.2023 valid upto 31.12.2025 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide No. CTOA/Renew/LDH1/2020/14320543 dated 23.11.2020 valid upto 23.11.2025 for manufacturing of Readymade Garments @ 20,000 Nos./day using Cotton/Blended Fabric @ 14 MTD. The unit has now applied for renewal of Consent to Operate under both Acts with the same production capacity and raw material.
The industry was inspected by Er. Nitish, AEE on 04.02.2026. The unit was operational and engaged in cutting, tailoring/overlock, buttoning, checking and pressing activities. No trade effluent is generated and only domestic effluent is discharged into sewer. The industry has installed 29 electrical baby boilers and 02 D.G. sets of 500 KVA and 1250 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height. The unit was found complying with the conditions of the previously granted consents and the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The site falls within the designated industrial area as per Master Plan Ludhiana 2007-2031.
In view of the above, renewal of Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2029.
