The project proponent M/s Alfa Neuchem Private Limited, Village Singriwala, P.O. Piplanwala, Hoshiarpur has applied for Consent to Establish (CTE)/NOC under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for setting up a manufacturing unit for Phenyl/Floor Cleaner (Pine Oil Concentrate) and allied products, falling under Sr. No. 26 – Liquid floor cleaner, black phenyl, liquid soap etc. (Orange Category).
The site was inspected on 28.02.2026 and it was observed that the unit is under establishment stage; boundary wall and industrial shed have been constructed and finishing work is in progress. No production activity has been started. The unit has proposed nil trade effluent discharge system, septic tank for domestic effluent and installation of thermic fluid heater with adequate APCD and stack height. The unit has also earmarked vacant land for development of green belt within the premises.
The project proponent has submitted the requisite documents including DTP clarification permitting the activity subject to conditions, CRO report regarding siting parameters, land documents, site plan and project report.
In view of the above, Consent to Establish (CTE)/NOC under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the unit as proposed above. |
