EE RO has submitted that unit has applied for grant of Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The consent fee of ₹9,000/- deposited under the Water Act is adequate for a period of five years. Inspection dated 25.02.2026 revealed that the unit has been established as an automobile service station/workshop and is presently non-operational except for trial activities. The unit has installed a 5 KLD MBBR-based ETP, provided collection system for trade effluent, septic tank for domestic effluent, permanent pipeline for reuse of treated effluent within plantation area, and DG set with acoustic enclosure and adequate stack height.
In view of the above as recommended by EE RO if approved Consent to Operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the unit upto 26.02.2031, subject to the general and following special conditions: 1. The ETP shall be made fully operational before commencement of regular operations and shall be maintained in efficient working condition at all times. Proper record of operation and maintenance shall be maintained and produced to the Board as and when required. 2. No untreated trade effluent or domestic effluent shall be discharged into any drain, sewer, water body or outside the premises under any circumstances. 3. The hazardous waste storage room shall be provided with proper lock and key arrangement and the hazardous waste shall be stored in leak-proof containers over an impervious platform with proper labelling. 4. The unit shall comply with all the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 and directions issued by the Board from time to time.
