It is submitted that the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for the Assembling of Distribution And Power Transformers @ 110 Number/day By Using Iron Sheets, Transformer Coils, Wire As Raw Material, under orange category.
The industry has deposited consent fee of Rs. 90000/- vide T.No. 79092293 dt. 11.11.2024 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 90000/- vide T.No. 646080534 dt. 11.11.2024 Air Act, , which makes adequacy upto 30.09.2029 after deducting late fee penalty as well as NOC regularization fee.
The industry has submitted approved site plan approved by Punjab Factory Act.
The PP has submitted transfer letter of plot C-10 from PSIEC in the name of the firm.
The PP has submitted lease agreement for the plot C-7, C-8 & C-9, Industrial Growth Centre, Mansa Road, Bathinda with M/s P.P.Agrotech, Bathinda.
The PP has submitted lease agreement for the plot C-11, Industrial Growth Centre, Mansa Road, Bathinda with M/s P.P. Industries Private Limited, Bathinda. It is relevant to mention here that earlier M/s P.P. Industry was operating at plot no. c-11 of Growth centre, which is having valid consent to operate of the Board under Water act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/BTI/2022/20390829 and CTOA/Renewal/BTI/2022/20390814 both dt. 21.11.2022 which is valid upto 30.09.2027 Now, the applicant industry has take over the industry from existing unit.
The PP has submitted lease agreement for the plot C-12, Industrial Growth Centre, Mansa Road, Bathinda with M/s Electroshield Power Industries, Bathinda.
The unit was visited by undersigned on 02.03.2026 and it was observed that-
1. The industry is engaged in assembling & spray painting of transformers.
2. The industry is also manufacturing transformers bodies inside the premises and carrying out spray painting of transformer bodies.
3. The industry has provided water curtains to contain the emissions, generated while painting of transformer bodies. Behind the water curtain, the air laden with traces of paint/solvent is sucked through an ID fan which is thereafter passed through a tank of MS sheet containing water, before discharging into the atmosphere through a stack of adequate height. The industry has provided adequate sampling arrangements to facilitate the emission sampling. The industry used to recirculate water being used in water curtain.
4. The industry is not generating any trade effluent from its process and domestic effluent @ 5 KLD is being discharged into PSIEC sewer.
The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act 1974 as well as Air Act,1981.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate of the Board under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for the Assembling of Distribution And Power Transformers @ 110 Number/day By Using Iron Sheets, Transformer Coils, Wire may be granted upto 30.09.2029, subject to the suitable conditions in supersession of earlier consent to operate granted to M/s P.p. Industries Pvt Limited Unit 2, C-11, Igc Mansa Road, Bathinda vide no CTOW/Renewal/BTI/2022/20390829 and CTOA/Renewal/BTI/2022/20390814 both dt. 21.11.2022 valid upto 30.09.2027
