It is intimated that the industry is a small scale green category unit and is engaged in manufacturing of PP Bags, LLDP Bags, Plastic Bags, Sheets Plastic @ 01 MTD using Pe Polythelene LLDP, Polypropylene PP, HDPE @ 1 MTD as raw material.
Now, the industry has applied for fresh Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS.
The industry has deposited fee amounting to Rs. 9167/-vide R. No. 715228970 dated 27.02.2026 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 9167/- vide R.no. 312287256 dated 27.02.2026 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Rs. 2200/- vide R.no. 972273474 dated 03.03.2026 as NOC fee, which is adequate upto 09.11.2026 (after deducting late penalty fee).
The industry was visited by the Er. Manraj Singh Randhawa, AEE of this office on 02.03.2026 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry is a small-scale green category industry and is engaged in the manufacturing of PP Bags, LLDP Bags, Plastic Bags, Sheets Plastic.
2. The industry has installed 01 Cutting machine and 02 Extruder machine.
3. No trade effluent is generated by the industry and only domestic effluent is discharged into sewer.
4. There is no source of air pollution generated by the industry.
5. The industry has submitted rent deed as a proof of date of commissioning i.e. 09.11.2024.
6. The industry is located in designated industrial zone as per Master Plan Ludhiana i.e. Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana.
The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 of the Board.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to six months with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and special conditions that the industry shall obtained the EPR registration under the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 within one month.
