1....This is a case of shifting of old dyeing industry from Sewage Network area to CETP catchment area.
2...... The industry has obtained NOC for dyeing & finishing for all type of fabrics (Polyester, PC & Cotton) @ 15250 Kgs/day & Dyeing of Yarn @ 6000 Kg/day with proposed discharge of trade effluent @ 648 KLD. ...
3.....However, the industry has now applied capacity for higher capacity and TE. It has physically installed 3 additional soft flow ( one each of 750 Kg, 500 KG and 300 KG machine) and one 120 KG Cabinet and one 5 KG sample cabinet machine .............
4.....As the CETP performance is already under evaluation, additional machinery beyond allowed by the Board at the time of NOC is not appropriate at this stage......
Therefore (A) consent may be allowed for shorter period at this site only for the Dyeing of products, TE and machinery proposed and allowed at the time of NOC (B) rest of the additional machinery which is more than NOC (3 soft flow ( one each of 750 Kg, 500 KG and 300 KG machine) and one 120 KG Cabinet) be sealed by RO before issuance of consent. Further, (B) RO 1 Ludhiana, under whom area the old unit falls shall ensure that water polluting activity including Dyeing shall be completely stopped there and all dues pertaining to be cleared, please |
