It is submitted that the pp was issued show cause notice revocation of 'Consents to Operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and notice to issue directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 5 of the Environment Protection Act, 1986 (for the violation of the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016) vide Board’s letter no. 7963 dated 19.02.2026 with an opportunity of personal hearing before the Worthy Chairperson of the Board on 10.03.2026. As such, the applications of the project proponent is returned with the request to re-submit the same after decisions of the personal hearing. |
