Clarification Note: The application was scrutinized and the following observations have been made: 1. The project proponent has not submitted the Certificate/NOC from the Department of Town & Country Planning regarding the land use classification of the new land area measuring 5.12 acres, for which they have applied for CTE (Expansion). Instead, they have submitted an old NOC pertaining to an area of 11 acres, for which CTE had been granted earlier. 2. As per the site plan submitted, the total green area is shown as 2600 sq. yards. However, as per the project report, the discharge of treated wastewater onto land for plantation is mentioned for an area of 2600 sq. yards, while another green area of 1337 sq. meters has also been indicated. It is not clear where this additional green area of 1337 sq. meters is located, as the same is not reflected in the site plan. 3. In order to assess the adequacy of the proposed sewage treatment and wastewater management arrangements for the project, the following clarifications may kindly be provided by the project proponent: (a) Maximum Built-up Area of the Project: It is requested to clarify the maximum permissible built-up area for the project. It is observed that the present sewage calculations appear to be based on the existing ground floor built-up area of 10 Acres. However, if first floor or second floor construction is permissible over the industrial/commercial plots, the total built-up area and corresponding population may increase significantly, which may consequently increase the water demand and sewage generation load on the proposed STP. Accordingly, the maximum potential built-up area may be specified and the adequacy of the proposed 50 KLD STP may be justified as per the norms of NBC and CPHEEO.
