As the industry has yet not installed new reactor for expansion, therefore, the following action may be taken:
1. Directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be dropped and this office may be allowed to open the seals of reactors and D.G. set. 2. Directions may be issued to PSPCL for restoration of electric connection for six months. 3. Consent to Operate granted under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for processing of waste tyre @ 10 TPD only may be granted for six months with suitable condition as per policy of the Board and special conditions as mentioned in the note of AEE above, please. |
