It is submitted that the PP has proposed 0.24 acres of plantation area (0.23 acres along Parking area & Ramp and 0.01 acres green park within the premises), which is adequate to utilize around 06 KLD of treated effluent. However, only the 0.01 acre of green area is marked in the site plan and the area of 0.23 acres along the parking area is not marked in the site plan. The project has earmarked 0.038 acres of land for solid waste management and mentioned that the treatment of biodegradable waste will be carried out through aerobic compost pits and the non-biodegradable waste will be handed over to the local authorities for further disposal. The proposal of the PP is in accordance with the SWM rules, 2016.................. Further, the project proponent has submitted a copy of the layout plan approved by the Senior Town Planner, Local Government Department, Punjab, Chandigarh and also Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat Arniwala Sheikh Subhan......................
Hence, it is evident that the PP has not properly demarcated adequate area for wastewater utilization. In view of the above, if approved, it is recommended that the Consent to Establish (NOC) applied under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be refused and SCN may be issued to the PP under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, please . ..............
