It is submitted that the extra dyeing machinery (250 Kg (2 no.), 100 Kg (1 no.), 50 Kg (1 no.), 25 Kg (1 no.), 10 Kg (1 no.) was found non- operational for which the NOC/CTE was granted by the Board and is labelled as such within the premises.
Also the calculation of the total effluent discharge is as follows:
Total capacity of the machines installed= 1665 kg for soft flow machines
Taking liquor ratio for soft flow machines as 1:8 and average no. of baths per lot =4 and average no. of lots=5, total quantum of effluent generation= 1665X4X5X8 = 266.4KLD.. Hence the industry is complying with the condition of 80% effluent generation.
The industry is using rice husk as fuel with the boiler and thermopack and the results of the air sampling of common stack done by Board dated 06.11.2025 are: PM= 152mg/Nm3 which is within the prescribed standards of the Board and thereby complying with the revised emission standards
With regards to the status of the application, it is recommended that the current application of CTO under Water Act, 1974 for quantum of discharge effluent of 488 KLD be refused and industry may be advised to reapply under CTO Renewal under Water Act, 1974 for trade effluent discharge of 360 KLD
