It is submitted that this office had earlier examined the applications submitted by the brick kiln for grant of Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, vide application No. 31017325. A detailed note was placed pointing out certain shortcomings observed during the inspection dated 12.02.2026, namely: 1. About 18 labour rooms were found constructed without provision of septic tank / domestic wastewater treatment system. 2. Stagnant wastewater from washing and bathing activities was observed, which may lead to groundwater pollution. The unit has now submitted its clarification, wherein it has stated that: 1. Septic Tank: Construction of the septic tank has been initiated and will be completed within one month. 2. Wastewater: To provide adequate wastewater management shortly. Although the compliance is not yet fully completed, the unit has undertaken the above actions and initiated work on the septic tank. No additional violations have been observed. 4. The unit shall strictly comply with all other terms and conditions of the Consent and the provisions of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
5. In case of failure to comply with the above conditions within the stipulated period, the Consent to Operate shall be liable to be deemed cancelled without any further notice.
