It is intimated that vide Board’s office order no. 531 dated 06.10.2021 it was decided that for processing of authorization/registration application and e-noting under various waste management Rules the Competency for deciding the common Environment Treatment Facility shall lies with Worthy Chairman of the Board which shall be routed through EPA cell. However, Competency for deciding the case of C&D waste Treatment Facility is not specifically mentioned in above orders. Further it is intimated that earlier, the facility was granted CTE (NOC) under Water Act 1974 and Air Act 1981 after the approval of Worthy Chairman of the Board with prior routing of the file through EPA Cell.
