Please find enclosed herewith copy of show cause notice for refusal of 'Consents to Operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Notice to issue directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. issued to the unit alongwith the opportunity of personal hearing before the Hon’ble Chairperson of the Board on 20.03.2026 at 12:00 noon
It is requested to ensure service of the notice upon the industry through special messenger, obtain proper acknowledgment of receipt, and forward the same to this office. The Regional Office shall also ensure the presence of the unit during the hearing and any failure in service of notice or non-attendance of the unit on the plea of non-receipt, and any consequential challenge to the Board’s action, shall be the sole responsibility of the Regional Office. Further, a flash report on the present status of the site shall be submitted before the scheduled date of hearing.
