Kindly peruse the note history & note/ report sent by EE, RO, Roopnagar.
The brief history of the case is as under:
• The stone crusher was earlier afforded an opportunity of hearing before the chairman of the board on 23.04.2025, wherein alongwith other decisions, it was decided that EC be imposed on the unit, the unit shall then apply for obtaining CTO, RO shall consider the application of the industry for short period of three months etc.
• The EC orders have been issued to the unit vide letter no. 447 dated 29.09.2025 amounting to Rs. 2,05,000/-.
• The industry has already deposited its entire amount of Rs. 2,05,000/-. Vide receipt no. 35/5327 dated 09.10.2025
• Thereafter, after approval of worthy Chairperson of the Board, industry was recently granted short term consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act 1981, upto 28.02.2026, for operation of crushing and screening cum washing plant of capacity @ 9500cft/day subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein...
• Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the said Acts..
• RO has processed the case and has recommended that the industry may be granted long-term consents and has also recommended that PSPCL may be directed to restore the electric connection of the industry permanently…
• In this regard, it is submitted that as per record file of this office, no directions have been issued by the Board to the PSPCL for disconnection of the electric connection of the unit. The matter was enquired with concerned AEE, and it was informed that the electric connection of the unit was disconnected on the basis of directions of mining department. As such, as the matter related to disconnection of the electricity is related to mining department, thus, no directions to PSPCL is required to be issued by the Board and the unit is required to take up the said matter with mining department, separately.
• W.r.t. the present consent application applications of the industry, as the matter of EC deposition was already dealt with the approval of the competent Authority of the board, while lastly granting short term consent to the industry. Thus, the present applications of industry for obtaining renewal of CTO is required to be dealt at RO level, as per the competency….
In view of above and report/ recommendations sent by EE, RO, Roopnagar, if approved, application of the industry may be sent back to RO, with the request to deal/ process, the application at RO level as per the competency, please…
