Sir, A) Letter was written to Sub Divisional magistrate (attached) and DTP for distance from municipal limits and area classification. The Industry has submitted Report of Naib Tehsildar Sahnewal through letter in the regional office and also through official email id. As per report of the Naib Tehsildar, 1.0 The industry is located beyond 2 kilometers beyond municipal limits of Samrala and Sahnewal. 2.0 The Industry is located 5 kilometers beyond municipal limits of Ludhiana. As per Letter no. 5780-5816 CTP(PB)/SP-135 dated 24.09.2021 Directorate of Town and Country Planning Punjab circulated Amendment in unified zoning regulations of master plans. As per the said notification, All orange and red category of industries along with other activities are permissible in mix land use zone along the highway/major roads beyond 4 kilometres of MC Ludhiana limits, 3 kilometres from Class-A towns and 2 kilometres from other towns. As per Census of 2011, The population of MC Sahnewal and MC Samrala is less than 100,000/- and industry is located beyond two kilometers from both towns. It fulfills the criteria of permission in mix land use zone along the highways. B) The Industry has one pickling section provided with a stack and wet scrubber. The Industry has two no. hot dip galvanizing furnaces of capacity 80 TPD and 3 TPD, both have two different stacks and have been provided with wet scrubbers as APCD. The suction points over zinc tanks are also connected to these stacks. The sampling was carried out for pickling section, on 24.07.2025 and as per results the Acid mist was found to be BDL. Submitted as per earlier recommendation please along with special condition that 1.0 Industry will get its emission samples analyzed from Board’s laboratory in 3 months. |
