------The matter regarding surprise visits to the industry by a team of Board officers (as per Order No. 55 dated 18.02.2026 for monitoring 17 categories and large Red category units) was discussed with the Member Secretary and Chairperson of the Board on 17.03.2026. It was decided that surprise visits should not be mixed up with the decisions of this hearing. The Regional Office to submit compliance of decision and to visit the industry as per timelines allowed to check compliance of decisions.
------A list of surprise visits to be conducted by SEE, ZP1, for Ludhiana industries (as per orders dated 18.02.2026) will be decided separately by the competent authority.
