The compliance of the hearing decisions of personal hearing for refusal of 'Consent to establish' (NOC) under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 before the Chief Environmental Engineer (B) of the Board - M/s Choudhary Steel Industries, Vill. Ismailpur, Bhadhla Road, Tehsil Khanna, Dist. Ludhiana on 17/02/2026 are as follows:
1. The industry has requested PSCST, Chandigarh for obtaining design of secondary emission control system through an email dated 12.03.2026 (copy enclosed)
2. The Hazardous Waste @2.825 MT of M/s Punjab Steel Alloys has been lifted from the premises of the industry dated 13.03.2026 as per the latest copy of the manifesto submitted by the industry in Regional Office. (Copy enclosed)
3. With respect to the documentary proof with regards to the site being situated in the industrial zone the industry has written a request letter to the District Town Planner of Khanna for suitability of establishing an induction furnace unit at the subject cited land.
