Sir, it is submitted that the industry has applied for obtaining varied Consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974, as the industry has installed a new ETP plant for treatment of waste water generated from Zinc plating process. However, to check the compliance, the site of the industry was visited by the officers of this office on 16.03.2026. However, during visit, the ETP of the industry was found not in operation.
As such the efficiency and adequacy of ETP couldn’t be adjudged during the visit and hence the application cannot be processed at this stage.
Therefore, if approved, the application of the industry may kindly be returned with the request to re-submit the same after attending said observations.
