Sir, as per directorate of Town and Country Planning, Punjab notification regarding amendments in unified zoning regulations of master plans dated 24.09.2021 (attached), Part B Industry in the mix land use zone states that “All Orange and Red category of industries along with other activities permissible in Mix Land Use Zone shall be allowed along the highway/major roads beyond 4 kilometers from the municipal limits of Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana Corporation, 3 kilometers from the limits of other Corporation and Class-A town limits, and 2 kilometers from other towns”. The reading of the clause refers to set up of new industries or in case of expansion of existing units i.e. varied consents. The present application has same product details as that of earlier issued consent therefore renewal of ‘Consent to Operate’ under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Telecom Terminals @ 13500 Nos/day may be granted to the industry up to 31.03.2029 subject to suitable conditions. |
