It is submitted that the HCF has submitted a letter issued by MC, Malout vide no. 612 dated 10.03.2026 which is reproduced as under:
Dr. Labh singh Sran is running a Clinic/Hospital Sran Hospital Near Bus stand G.T. Road Malout.This clinic/hospital is situated within the limits of Municipal council, Malout. This Clinic/Hospital is in Mixed Land use areas of the city. This office has no objection for running of this Clinic/Hospital. This certificate is issued only for the PPCB purposes. This office reserves right to withdraw or cancel this certificate at any Stage........
In view of the above, it is observed that the MC has conveyed its ‘No Objection’ for operation of the HCF in a mixed land use area. Therefore, if approved consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the HCF for operating a hospital having 10 beds capacity for a period upto 31.03.2032, subject to conditions as per policy of the Board alongwith special conditions as follows: 1) The HCF shall get the validity of agreement made with Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility extended well before its expiry and submit the same to the Board……. 2) The HCF shall comply with the provisions of Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 all the time……. 3) The HCF shall comply with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 all the time………. 4) The HCF shall ensure to comply with the effluent standards as notified by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change under the Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 as amended upto date and subsequent amendments if any……… |
