The pointwise reply of the above raised queries is as under:
1. The industry has not installed any APCD on its extruder machine, however the industry uses the washed plastic waste to make the plastic granules and during the visit there were no visible emissions observed from the extruder machine. Moreover, in all previous granted Air CTO to the industry by the Board there was no condition/proposal about APCD on the extruder machine. As of now if the APCD is required on the machine, CTO may be granted to the industry with the additional special that industry should provide APCD on its extruder machine in timebound manner.
2. The unit is an old established small scale unit and is getting continuous CTO under both Air and Water Acts from the Board, Earlier the both CTO's under the Air and Water act to the industry were granted on the basis of certificate of Senior Town Planner, Ludhiana letter No. 2027/DTP(L)/M2A dated 12.06.2009 for designated light and service industrial zone, Now the industry has applied for renewal of CTO's however applied for new Air and Water CTO as there was no renewal option available in the portal and according to the provisions of the master plan Ludhiana (2007-2031) the industrial activities are allowed in the light and service industrial zone at the site there are Industrial establish near the unit, submitted please. |
