Sir, it is submitted that the industry was issued Show cause notice vide letter no. 511-12 dated 19.02.2026 to submit its reply in writing. The industry has submitted its reply (attached) dated 23.02.2026 in which it is stated that
“1. we are in process of installing zero liquid discharge as submitted by us to the Punjab Pollution Control Board. Due to our old structure and delays by our vendor in making structure of zero liquid discharge are works is delayed.
2. Our 70% of zero liquid discharge project is completed and remaining is prepared by our vendor at his site due to less space in our industry.
3. We have already given advance payment for installation of wet scrubber to M/s Shivam Enterprises on 23.01.2026 P.O. Attached with this letter.
4. We have applied consent to operate under the Air Act 1981. With Application ID 30247236.
5.We have already submitted Bank Guarantee of Rs.1.00 lac vide no.0578NDDG0001022.“
it is further submitted that the matter regarding the uniform decision to be taken on scattered dyeing units which have not yet shifted and the separate file on e-office under consideration with the Competent Authority.
