• The project proponent has applied for obtaining fresh Consent to Establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS of the Board for the establishment of a new unit at Khasra No 20//14 Min, 20//15 Min, 20//16/2, 20//17, Village Fazalpur Tehsil Kartarpur with the proposal to manufacturing of Maize Dalia @ 8 T/day by using Wet Maize @ 10 T/day as raw material and detail of the same is as under: -
1. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 6400/- vide UTR no. 808759072 dated 13.03.2026as NOC fee against the proposed fixed assets of Rs. 150.0 lacs as per project report.
2. The project proponent has submitted land use classification for establishment of industry issued by DTP, Jalandhar vide letter No. 13/SSV-I dated 05.01.2026.
3. The project proponent has submitted/uploaded registry of the land, MSME certificate, Project report, site plan cum location plan and report of revenue department with the application.
4. The project proponent has proposed to install dry milling process, which is standard for producing grits and daliya at site.
5. There is no source of trade effluent generated and domestic effluent is proposed to discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank
• The proposed site was visited by Er. Jaspreet Kaur (AEE-OS) on 18.03.2026 and it was observed that the industry is going to establish its unit at Village Fazalpur Tehsil Kartarpur. At site, no construction work of the proposed project is started and only vacant plot observed at site.
The industry is a small scale green category and the competency of case lies with Environmental Engineer, Jalandhar.
Recommendations: Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for one year with suitable conditions and with special conditions that:
1. The project proponent shall obtain necessary permission/ statutory clearance from the concerned Departments, if required, if any, in future its own level.
