The sample analysis results are as under:-
1.pH 7.6 (5.5 – 9 )
2.TSS 63 mg/l (600mg/l)
3.COD 220 mg/l (-)
4.BOD 38mg/l (350 mg/l)
4.O&G BDL (20mg/l)
5.Bio-Assay 40% survival of fishes (90% survival of fishes)
The sample is failing in the bio-assay.
Keeping in view of above mentioned facts, if approved:
1. 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be refused, please.
The HCF has submitted a P.O. & Work Order for upgrading its STP and installing a new STP, copy attached, for consideration by Competent Authority.
