It is submitted that the hospital in its request letter dated 10.03.2026 has informed to the Board that its existing STP plant is nearing the end of its operational life. It has further submitted that the hospital is in the process of replacing the complete STP plant with upgraded technology. Quotations have been obtained from various vendors, and the purchase order for the new plant is likely to be finalized and submitted within the next 10–15 days.
Further, the effluent analysis results taken by this office reveal that the parameters, i.e., BOD and Bioassay, are found beyond the prescribed limits of the Board.
In view of the above, it is
recommended that a Show Cause Notice for refusal of the Consent to Operate (CTO) applied for by the HCF may be issued, please.
